Desafios na gestão de recursos de um campus universitário federal na perspectiva da teoria da dependência de recursos

This article aims to analyze the challenges in resource management at the Lagarto University Campus of the Federal University of Sergipe, which fully adopts Active Methodologies in teaching, based on the Resource Dependency Theory. Methodologically, a case study was carried out under a mixed approach, having as sources of evidence interviews with managers and former managers of the campus, application of questionnaires with students, documentary research, and unsystematic participant observation. Using the technique of Narrative Analysis, it was found that the biggest challenges are associated with infrastructure and financial resources, as well as training of teachers and civil servants in dealing with active methodologies. These aspects influence the maintenance of quality and continuous innovation of the teaching-learning process based on methodologies, given the demand for specific resources, which pointed out the need to develop strategic practices to mitigate the problems faced. In this way, contributions are promoted about the relevance of understanding the underlying aspects that influence the efficiency of the full use of differentiated methodologies in a higher education institution.
