CONHECIMENTO DOS RISCOS ASSOCIADOS PARA O CONSUMO DE DROGAS INTELIGENTES NA POPULAÇÃO UNIVERSITÁRIA NO CHILE: ESTUDO RANDOMIZADO, CONTROLADO E CEGO

2018
Smart drugs, also called nootropics, which come from the Greek nous (mind) and tropos (movement), are a type of emerging licit drug whose main effect is to maintain the waking state. In the population there is very little knowledge about what elements make up this type of drug, what are its adverse effects and what are the risks that these types of substances can cause to health. As a result of this, we want to determine the consumption habits and the level of knowledge about this type of drugs, through a transversal study through a research applied to students of a private university in the metropolitan region. Currently, there is increasing consumption of these drugs, while the environment in general is not yet aware of the harm they could cause. The objective of this study was to determine the amount of smart drug use and to identify the knowledge of its adverse effects.
