Shaped crystal growth of silicon foils by raft

Abstract Characteristics of the ramp assisted foil-casting technique (RAFT) are reviewed. Silicon sheet material grown by this technique is characterized with reference to process parameters in connection with measurements of crystallinity, chemical analysis, and electrical and photovoltaic properties.
