Design and implementation of the temperature monitoring system of infrared rotary kiln shell

Temperature monitoring of rotary kiln shell is important in industrial furnace combustion process. Real-time monitoring system of infrared scanning for rotary kiln shell is able to provide accurate temperature information. It can prevent the damage of rotary kiln shell and liner, also can improve the operation rate of rotary kiln. Because the time of monitoring is long, the amount of temperature field data is large. When the temperature field date are directly transmitted, the transmission efficiency is low and prone to error. In rotary kiln temperature field data transmission, data compression based on LZ77 algorithm is used in this paper. The compressed data is applied to data transmission. Experiments show that this algorithm can improve the transmission efficiency and the transmission is accurate. In the second part of this paper, the industrial furnace combustion process monitoring interface is designed and implemented. All kinds of gas concentration in the combustion process and temperature field data information are included in the monitoring interface. It can achieve the purpose of accurate monitoring of rotary kiln shell temperature, and ensuring safe and reliable operation of the rotary kiln.
