Method of separating the Ti from Ti slurry

Method for separating metallic particles from a slurry of the original components of the liquid metal and the metal particles and salt particles is disclosed. Particles of metals and salts are concentrated by removing at least some of the liquid metal, then, in order to further concentrate the metal particles, of the liquid metal or the original salt component liquids or mixtures thereof, of the original salt component higher than the melting point temperature, passed through the metal particles. Thereafter, the metal particles are separated from the remainder of the original components or salt components. Differences in specific gravity between the liquid metal and the salts used to promote separation.
