Real and Induced Characteristics in the Systemic Analysis of Behavior and Primary Energy Contained in Wind Power Source

2018
The aim of this work is to analyze the method for determining the primary wind power source in an aerial basin for electricity production. The wind behavior is methodologically determined, using data measured at an Anemometric Station. The completion of the series is derived from synthetic analysis linked to the historical data of the aerial basin. Outcomes show that local measurements contain inconsistent data determining the treatment conditioned to the construction of a mixed series of measured and synthetic data. The local wind profile varies over a year with an annual average of 5.5 m.s$^{-1}$; form factork = 1.54 with 25% of speeds below 3.0 m.s$^{-1}$. Concluding, in the traditional context, about to starting wind turbines, there is the need to specify a modern use of the resource with wind turbine technologies started at low speeds, making it possible to increase the period of exploitation throughout the year.
