Nostra esperienza sul trattamento delle pseudoartrosi delle ossa lunghe con sostituti ossei e PRP

The Authors report their experience on the use of bone substitutes in association with the use of PRP in the treatment of aseptic nonunion. It should be emphasized, for the purposes of healing, the crucial role of primary stabilization of the outbreak and the major inductive stimulus provided by the additional biologic support in the biologically inactive atrophic forms. They reiterate the importance, in order to choose the most suitable treatment, of a correct classification of the patient and pseudoarthrosis. Three significant cases of nonunion are described, extrapolated among those treated from 2010 to 2013 at the P.O. Piedimonte Matese.
