A transmitter, receiver and method

The present invention relates to a phased array transmitter comprising a vector modulator, the delay module is coupled to the true vector modulator; local oscillator phase shifter coupled to the drive module and the RF module and the antenna true delay. Vector modulator is configured to apply to the vector modulation baseband signal and provides the IF signal to the real delay module. True time delay module is configured to apply a delay to the intermediate frequency signal is true and the intermediate frequency signal to provide a delay to the local oscillator phase shifters and RF converter module. Local oscillator and RF phase shifter module is configured to drive the delayed IF signal by a local oscillator signal and phase shift to delay application of the radio frequency signal to provide an intermediate frequency signal for further transmission to an antenna. The present invention also relates to a phased array receiver.
