Synthesis,Structural Characterization and Surface Enhancement Raman Scattering(SERS) of the Uniform and Stable Silver Colloid

A simple method to synthesize uniform and stable silver colloid has been presented in this paper.The silver colloid particles have been characterized by TEM,UV-Vis spectra and XPS analysis.The surface enhancement Raman spectrum of rhodamine 6G on the Ag colloid nanoparticles was collected and the results indicate that the silver colloid can give the surface enhancement effect on the Raman spectrum of rhodamine 6G.
