The Effect of Diverse Outside Ties on Creative Performance of Entrepreneurial Teams:A Cross-Case Study

This paper assumes that the diverse outside social ties of entrepreneurial team members are conductive to the team innovation,and this relationship would be moderated by individual centrality in a team's social network and the evolutionary stages of an entrepreneurial team.The paper uses a cross-case study of 6 typical entrepreneurial teams to test the propositions above.The result shows that the creative performance of an entrepreneurial team is affected by the diverse outside social ties of entrepreneurial team members,individual centrality in the team's social network and the evolutionary stages of the team.
