High-speed Waveguide Switches for Optical Packet-switched Routers and Networks

This paper presents an optical waveguide switch with a switching time of 1.26-1.39 ns in the C band and demonstrates optical packet switching for an optical packet stream with a 40-Gbps NRZ signal.
