U Shaped Fiber-Optic pH Sensor Using Sol-gel Coating Over TiO2

A wide range U shaped fiber optic pH sensor utilizing titanium dioxide (TiO2) layer with sol-gel coating, has been fabricated and demonstrated in this paper. A high sensitivity of 0.37 dBm/pH is observed with fast response time of 14 s.
