Study on the optimal ultrasonic extraction process for berberine from rhizome coptidis

Ultrasonic extraction process for berberine from rhizome coptidis was investigated.The optimized ultrasonic process was determined as following:using alcohol as extraction solvent,the time of ultrasonic extraction 30 min,temperature 50℃,the concentration of alcohol 80%,the ultrasonic extraction times 2.Under the optimized condition,compared with traditional extraction technology with alcohol,the ultrasonic extraction yield of berberine was increased by 42%.
