The article examines the work of the contemporary artist Lucy McKenzie. Particular focus is given to her work in a variety of media including paintings, films and clothing design. Additional topics include how she was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and first exhibited in 2000 at the age of 20, her creation of the film "The Girl Who Followed Marple," which was exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, and how she has been influenced by the work of other artists including Martin Kippenberger.
