INFORMATION RETRIEVAL PROGRAM ELECTRONIC/ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS

Abstract : Work is summarized concerni g the informatio re rieval program of compiling and evaluating electronic and electrical properties of semiconductor and insulation aterials from scientific and technical literature. T HE PROGRAM IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PHASES. Phase I consists of determining and establishing the systems, procedures, and facilities for (1) searching, ac uiring, abstracting, and indexing the literature; (2) storing, retrieving, compiling,AND EVALUATING THE DATA; AND (3) publishing and disseminating bibliographies, property tables, data sheets, and summary reviews of important topics. Phase II consists of performing the above tasks for two categories of materials, semiconductors and insulators. A glossary of selected semiconductor properties and effects is presented. (Author)
