According to the novel wet dust collector, dust-contained gas is in close contact with water, the particle size is enlarged by virtue of the inertia impact between water drops and particles as well as other effects, so that dust particles are separated out from airflow, water mist is removed by virtue of the two-stage shutter separators, ascending airflow finally flows through the compact protective screen mesh on the top of the tank body for further removing water mist, and then the airflow is discharged. The novel wet dust collector is simple in structure, small in occupied area, high in dust collection efficiency and excellent in effect; the content of dust and liquids in exhaust is low, so that energy conservation and environment protection are achieved, the purification efficiency can reach up to over 95%, and the purification efficiency to particles of over 10 microns can reach up to over 99.5%.
