A new species of Albertisia (Menispermaceae) from Thailand

In my 'Synopsis of Thai Menispermaceae' in Kew Bull. 43:369-407 (1988) I referred on pp. 374-5 to the presence of two species of Albertisia in Thailand, one of which was undescribed and referred to as Albertisia sp. in the key and comments. In a loan recently received from Leiden a duplicate was included of one of the two specimens preserved at Prince of Songkla University, but with better fruits, and this has enabled me to prepare the following description so that the species can bear a name in the forthcoming account in Flora of Thailand.
