The invention discloses a method and an apparatus of displaying and recognizing images on the basis of a curved screen. The method and apparatus relate to the technical field of image processing with the object of solving problem in the prior art that when a user scans an image displayed on a curved screen, the image is recognized at a low rate. The method comprises the production of a new image based on the curving degree of the curved screen and a to-be-corrected image. The to-be-corrected image comprises a to-be-corrected two-dimensional code or a to-be-corrected bar code. On the curved screen, the new image is displayed and when the new image is mapped on a plane, the size of the new image is identical to that of the to-be-corrected image.
