Solar energy for heating a building used for offices
2019
Energy consumption in the building sector reached 43% of national consumption, mainly due to the improvement in the standard of living of citizens, which led to increased use of heating, ventilation and ventilation equipment. air conditioner. Energy efficiency is an appropriate answer to this problem. Actions are needed to influence energy consumption. This article presents the results of a study of a newly built office building at the Center for the Development of Renewable Energy (CDER) in Algiers. This building obeys the norms of the Algerian thermal regulation. The annual energy requirements for heating and cooling are 2754 kWh and 3575 kWh respectively. the heating of the building is provided by a solar thermal system, with a field of solar collectors with a surface of 10 m². the indoor office temperature reaches a certain comfort and varies between 10.8 ° C and 23.4 ° C TRNSYS software is used for dynamic simulation of building performance.Energy consumption in the building sector reached 43% of national consumption, mainly due to the improvement in the standard of living of citizens, which led to increased use of heating, ventilation and ventilation equipment. air conditioner.
