The present invention relates to substituted carbamoyl methoxy and carbamoylmethyl thiobenzamide compounds (I) and their stereoisomers, salts, tautomers and N- oxides, as well as compositions containing them about. The present invention also provides for combating invertebrate pests, carbamoylmethoxy - relates to the use of benzamide compounds or compositions comprising such compounds - and carbamoylmethyl thio.
