A novel high selective fluorescent probe for imaging of cysteine both in living cells and zebrafish

2019
A novel fluorescent probe (PI-Cys) was developed for imaging cysteine both in living cells and zebrafish. The probe has high selectivity, high fluorescence quantum yield and a large turn-on signal. In addition, bioimaging results suggest that it can be used as an endogenous Cys probe and can even detect cysteine in zebrafish.
