Implementation on multi-channels data synchronous acquisition system based on FPGA

This paper introduces data acquisition and storage structure of traditional microprocessor-based protective relaying and presents a new multi-channels data synchronous acquisition system based on FPGA.This new system integrates data acquisition and data storage in one FPGA to resolve problems of inefficient performance and complicated program in traditional data acquisition and implement data synchronous acquisition as well as the optional number of channels.Some test results used by embedded logic analyzer are presented.
