TRIBOLOGICAL STUDY OF A BRONZE OBTAINED BY SINTERING PROCEEDS
2017
In this work we report on the effect of speed and load on the tribological characteristics of a Cu 8% Sn bronze under pressure with sintered self-lubricating mode for two lubricants with different viscosities. The sample’s density is about 70% to 80% of the theoretical density and its porosity serves as a reservoir of oil for lubricity. The tests were carried out on a wear device assembled on a universal lathe. Our experimental findings show that the wear stages strongly depend on the the load and the speed. Their dynamic is clearly related to the viscosity.
