The article compares conservative and surgical treatment of clavicle fractures. Previously conservative treatment was considered effective for most clavicle fractures with good functional results. But now this point of view is incorrect. The problem of choice of surgical treatment is still evident, because many surgeons avoid intramedullary osteosynthesis.
