Effects of microwave therapeutic instrument and pearl powder mixture on neonatal diaper dermatitis

Objective: To study the effects of microwave therapeutic instrument and pearl powder mixture on neonatal diaper dermatitis.Methods: 86 neonatal diaper dermatitis cases were divided into observation group and control group.The observation group was treated with multi-functional microwave therapeutic instrument combining pearl powder mixture;while the control group was treated with Buttock protection cream.After 3 days of treatment curative effects were compared with each other.Results: The combination of multi-functional microwave therapeutic instrument and pearl powder mixture can cure diaper dermatitis with a significant higher total effective rate in the observation group than in the control group.Conclusion: The combination of multi-functional microwave therapeutic instrument and pearl powder mixture is a convenient,economical and effective treatment to neonatal diaper dermatitis,and worth wide application.
