Method of cell selection in a multi-RAT environment

The present invention provides a method for selecting a cell by a terminal which is able to establish a radio link over a plurality of radio interfaces available. The terminal includes a signal transmitting / receiving unit, and an output connected to the signal transmitting / receiving unit processor. The processor may estimate the path loss amount based on the pilot transmit power and the measured pilot reception power, and decide on the basis of the uplink received power limit value and the path loss amount, whether it connects to the base station received from a base station system information on a pilot transmission power and an uplink receiving power limit.
