Hall Effect and Magnetoresistance of n‐InP Crystals at Low Temperatures

1966
A study is made of the temperature dependence of the Hall constant R(T), the electrical conductivity σ(T), and the magnetoresistance Δ∥/∥(T) between 1.7 and 300 °K in specimens with electron concentrations from 2 × 1016 to 1018 cm−3. A maximum is observed in R(T) in the temperature range 20 to 100 °K; Δ∂/∂ is negative in all specimens below the maximum temperature of R(T). The results are explained by the participation of impurity band conduction. [Russian Text Ignored].
