Apparatus for mounting protection cover for hermetic compressor

PURPOSE: An apparatus for mounting a protective cover of a hermetic compressor is provided to allow the protective cover to be easily attached and separated, and to securely fix the protective cover to a casing. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus includes a pair of first protrusions(171) protrusively formed on both sides of an outer wall of a protective cover(170) covering and protecting electric components(140) mounted to a terminal part(120) formed on a peripheral surface of a casing(110) of a compressor(100); a second protrusion(173) protrusively formed on one side of the outer wall of the protective cover facing the casing when the protective cover is mounted; and a clamp(180) having a pressurizing part(183) and a fixed part(185) formed correspondingly with the first protrusions and the second protrusion, and mounted to the casing in such a manner that the clamp is rotated on the casing. The protective cover is attached to and separated from the casing only by rotating the clamp. The first protrusions are pressed toward the casing by the pressurizing part to securely fix the protective cover to the casing.
