The present stage of economic development is characterized by profound changes in the traditional system of business structures cooperation. Existing conceptual approaches to business system development include, on the whole, the selection of effective ways of business structures cooperation and the methodology of organization of business environment, which contributes to their progress. The same applies to the development of certain forms of cooperation of economic entities functioning in the Russian economy. The business structures cooperation on the basis of outsourcing deserves particular interest. Nowadays it is one of the most actual methods of increasing business efficiency and competitiveness. The article considers the formation and development of outsourcing forms of business structures cooperation in Russia, the classification of types of outsourcing as a modern form of Russias’ business structures cooperation, and also introduces a new criterion for their classification according to importance of business processes in outsourcing.
