La Participación Ciudadana en las Ciudades Capitales del Noreste de México: un modo de Intervención Social hacia la Gobernabilidad (Civic participation in capital cities of northeastern Mexico: A social intervention form towards governess)

The relevance of civic participation with a special emphasis on jurisdictional frame is noted. A quantitative analysis via multiple linear regression model based on surveys in the states of Nuevo Leon, Coahuila and Tamaulipas was conducted to assess the role of four independent variables namely, meetings, cooperation, complaints and inquiries on the civic participation. Results indicated that all four predictors affect significantly the response variable in all three states.
