Macro and micro modeling of hot rolling of steel coupled by a micro constitutive relationship

A macro and micro model has been developed to simulate the static and dynamic recrystallizations of austenite during the hot rolling of steel. The results indicate that static recrystallization plays a more important role than dynamic recrystallization on austenite refinement.
