Kawasaki disease (KD) is known to be at times complicated by a coronary artery aneurysm (CAA) which may cause myocardial infarction and sudden cardiac death of infants. There is a paucity of reports of acute myocardial infarction of adult-onset related to a CAA caused by KD.
