Reliability and Validity of T hree Dysphagia Assessment Scale for Children with Cerebral Palsy Dysphagia

Objective:To study the validity and reliability of three dysphagia assessment scale for cerebral palsy children 's swallowing function.Methods:A deputy director of pediatric physicians and a rehabilitation division respectively in 145 cerebral palsy dysphagia pa-tients were first assessed , by using dysphagia assessment scale 1,scale 4,scale 7 Within ten day ,patients were assessed by the same vice director of pediatric physicians again , The test-retest reliability and Inter rater reliability were analyzed by using Kappa correlation , Com-mon validity of 3scale was determined by Spearman rank corelation coefficients .Rseults:The test-retest reliability and Inter rater relia-bility of each scale, Kappa was greater than 0.75,P<0 .01,There was statistically significant,With good reliability,3 scales were evalua-ted by Spearman correlation ,P<0.01,There was statistically significant , 3 scales have a good validity .Conclusion:Scale 1、Scale 4 and Scale 7 have good reliability and validity for the cerebral palsy in the assessment of swallowing function .
