Dynamical Evolution of Complex Industrial Knowledge Networks

This paper studied the interrelation of structural characteristics of complex knowledge network and dynamic process on it.A multi-agent-based computational model is constructed for simulating the evolution of complex industrial knowledge networks.The agents in the industrial knowledge network select some other agents to build knowledge connections according to their own requirements.These agents are divided into five categories.The structural characteristics of various knowledge networks are analyzed and as a result,some basic structural characteristics of typical complex social networks emerge.Finally,the paper investigates which types of agents increase most quickly in a mixed knowledge network.It is concluded that those agents locating at the center of the knowledge network lead the knowledge competition.
