The invention discloses an artificial cochlea system of which the internal circuit works independently, the artificial cochlea system comprises an internal circuit and an electrode group connected with the internal circuit, wherein the internal circuit comprises an internal microphone, an internal analog-to-digital converter, a processor, an electrode driving module, an electrode group and a power supply module. The invention further discloses an artificial cochlea system of which the internal circuit and the external circuit work cooperatively, the artificial cochlea system comprises the external circuit, an external antenna and an internal antenna, wherein the external circuit comprises an external microphone, an external analog-to-digital converter, an external modem and an external main control circuit; and the internal circuit also comprises an internal modem. In the invention, a signal processor is arranged in the body of the system, and the external part only needs to transmit voice signals to the internal part, so that requirement on transmission bandwidth is reduced, an internal voice processing algorithm is not limited by unlimited data code rate, and further larger space is provided for an artificial cochlea language processing algorithm. A patient can set different working modes according to needs so as to better meet the living needs.
