Design of an embedded video qcquisition system based on ARM9

A miniature and low-power consumption video data acquisition system is constructed,in which an embedded microprocessor S3C2440 of ARM 920t core is selected as system hardware platform core,Windows CE(WinCE) embedded operating system is selected as software platform and an image sensor OV9650 is selected.Hardware design is designed by the following principle of modularization.In the development of software,the design of OV9650 driver and application software is detailed.OV9650 driver is developed in Platform Builder and application software is developed in Visual IDE of EVC.Experiments show that system design is correct and reasonable,video is clear and continuous,and system is stable.
