The system comprises a timing module, an image shooting module, an image identifying module and a bright screen control module, wherein the timing module is used for timing the screen no-operation time of the mobile terminal, and transmitting an image detecting signal when a screen extinguishing time is achieved; the image shooting module is used for starting a front camera of the mobile terminal to shoot a current image when the image detecting signal is received; the image identifying module is used for identifying human eyes in the current image, and transmitting a bright screen keeping signal or a screen extinguishing signal; and the bright screen control module is used for controlling the screen of the mobile terminal according to the received bright screen keeping signal or screen extinguishing signal. According to the invention, an intelligent bright screen keeping method is added for the mobile terminal, so that the user experience can be improved.
