The invention provides a method for improving the solid content, the flowability and the pumping property of sedimentation iron-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst precursor slurry. At least one inorganic flocculating agent is added into the sedimentation iron-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst precursor slurry; the weight ratio of solids in the catalyst precursor slurry to the inorganic flocculating agent is 100:(0.01-20). The invention also provides the sedimentation iron-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst precursor slurry and a preparation method thereof as well as a sedimentation iron-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst prepared from the slurry. Moreover, the invention also provides a preparation method of the sedimentation iron-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst and the sedimentation iron-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst prepared by the preparation method.
