医療情報サービス Minds について

2004
Evidence-based clinical practice guidelines are developed every year in Japan to improve the quality of patient care. However, whether these guidelines are helpful to health providers and patients remains uncertain. For example, the guidelines have not been presented in a user-friendly fashion. The Japan Council for Quality Healthcare is launching an information service for clinical practice guidelines using the Internet (Minds: Medical Information Network Distribution Service). The service consists of two main databases: a clinical practice guideline database and a medical article database. Effective linkage of the two databases will enable users to quickly identify the evidence that was used to form the recommendations outlined in the guidelines. This service is also expected to contribute to the improvement of clinical practice guidelines.
