Actionless Action, Action, and Inaction

2003
The ideas of Actionless Action, Action, and Actionless comprises the basic concepts of Chinese ancient philosophy and thus form the fundamental philosophic categories of Chinese traditional culture. Among the three different outlooks, ways, and realms of life embodied in these concepts,"actionless action" is the"Tao", "Nature", as well as moderation and "equilibrium." The pursuit of "getting all things regulated through actionless activity" is a wise passiveness one should seek to attain as the objective of a lifelong struggle.
