Research progress of chemotherapy in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (HNSCC) is a common malignant tumor originating from various parts of the head and neck. Chemotherapy has no doubt about the role in surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and gene therapy. And chemotherapy is used as a treatment for HNSCC for more than 30 years. It is also one of the most important treatments to improve the quality of life and preserve the function of the organs. This article mainly describes the relevant experimental research on chemotherapy for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
