Propagação de Ora-pro-Nóbis (Pereskia aculeata) por estaquia em diferentes substratos

2020
Ora-pro-nobis is a multifunctional native plant, perennial cactus and rustic creeper, used as food, live fences and windbreak. The objective was to evaluate its propagation by cuttings in different substrates. The experiment was carried out at the agrobiodiversity nursery of the University of Passo Fundo, with 50% shading. The cuttings of Pereskia aculeata Mill. collected from the residential garden matrix had 10 cm, without lesion and with two apical leaves. Three substrates (charcoal rice husk, vermiculite and 2: 1: 1 sand mix: vermicompost: mineral soil) were evaluated in a completely randomized design with 5 replicates with 12 cuttings per plot. With 89% rooting, the three substrates do not influence the rooting of Pereskia aculeata. The artisan mix substrate provides greater fresh and dry biomass of the leaves, which accentuates the vigor of the seedlings, provides early harvesting of leaves optimizing the establishment of the plant in the field.
