Registered Jack (RJ) plug connector

2012
A Registered Jack (RJ) plug connector (100) comprises a plug body (1), a plurality of terminals (2) accommodated in the plug body (1), a plug inserting portion (3) assembled in the plug body (1), and a cable (4) connected with the plug inserting portion (3) and electrically connected with the terminals (2). The plurality of terminals (2) are provided with butt joint portions (201) and insulation puncturing portions (202) and comprise first terminal pair (23 and 26) and second terminal pair (24 and 25). The butt joint portions (201) of the first terminal pair (23 and 26) are separated from the butt joint portions (201) of the second terminal pair (24 and 25). The insulation puncturing portions (202) of the first terminal pair (23 and 26) are in a left-right adjacent relation. The opening distance between twisted pairs electrically connected with the insulation puncturing portions of the first terminal pair is decreased, accordingly crosstalk can be reduced and stability of signal transmission can be improved.
