Social Learning Theory

Akers and Sellers (2013) use four criteria to evaluate a theory: clearly defined concepts and logically stated propositions, testability, empirical support, and the usefulness and the policy implications of the theory. This entry touches on each of the criteria with an emphasis on the application for the prevention and treatment of deviant and criminal behavior.
