Micro-tilt generating device for field calibration of clinometer

2013
The utility model discloses a micro-tilt generating device for field calibration of a clinometer, and relates to an earth science instrument calibrating technology. The device comprises a base, a support screw, a cushion block, a direct current motor, a driving gear, a driven gear, piezoelectric ceramics, a sensing unit and a wafer. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) coarsely tuning for the first time; (2) coarsely tuning for the second time; (3) finely tuning by using the piezoelectric ceramics 70; (4) measuring micrometric displacement of the clinometer by a precise displacement measurement instrument; and (5) calculating angle variation of the clinometer by the micrometric displacement, and obtaining a scale value by the angle variation and change of output voltage of the clinometer. The micro-tilt generating device is small in volume, convenient to carry, convenient to operate, economical in time, compatible to calibration, and suitable for calibration of the clinometer.
