Abstract Three endodontic intracanal medicaments (camphorated para-monochlorophenol, Cresatin, and Acriphen) were tested for their cytotoxic effect on HeLa cell tissue system. All three drugs showed extreme toxicity to the tissue culture cells even when the concentration of each drug was in a dilution of 1:1,000.
