Research Status of Pedestrian Lower Extremity Biomechanical Emulation and Legform Surrogates

Summarized recent literature regarding the lower extremity protection for pedestrians and analyzed lower extremity injury patterns and grades based on the Pedestrian Crash Data Study(PCDS) database.The current surrogate legforms and associated test procedures were compared.All of these provide the reference for the further study of lower extremity injury.
