Disc brake, particularly for commercial vehicles, as well as holding device for a cable of such a disk brake

The invention relates to a disc brake, in particular for commercial vehicles, with a one brake disc which surrounds the caliper, one arranged on one side of the caliper brake application in the brake caliper, a brake caliper on the side facing the brake disc side closing closure plate for the brake caliper, said at least one operating opening for the passage comprises a portion of the clamping device, and a device connected to a wear sensor for a brake pad cable. According to the invention it is provided that the closure plate has at least one opening in which a holding device for holding the cable is fixed by form closure. In addition to the disc brake, the invention also provides a holder for a cable of such a disk brake.
