Integrin and Foot-and-mouth Disease Virus Infection

Integrins are an important cell surface molecules that contribute to a variety of biological functions,including mediate cell and extracellular matrix and cell-cell adhesion.In addition,integrins also play the important roles in indentification of cells,growth and differentiation.FMDV infected cells depends on host cell receptors.They play the important roles in pathogenesis mechanism,tissue and host tropism as key determinant in FMDV infected host cells.This article is mainly about the structure,function and roles of FMDV infection in order to clarify the mechanism of FMDV infected cells.
