An economic assessment of dissolving pulp production in New Zealand

1972
It has been known for some years that Pinus radiata is an excellent raw material for dissolving pulp production. This report examines economic aspects of dissolving pulp production, particularly the availability of suitable export markets and likely New Zealand production costs and returns. The results obtained are compared with those of a similar study published in 1964.
